ABOUT PHOTO ART PHOTOGRAPHY
It is really hard to classify what constitutes "photo art" because many would argue that all professional photography is photo art as a good professional photograph is an art form in itself. Certainly many glamour, boudoir or even pinup styles would do well hanging in many art galleries. And certainly if you were to look at our digital art portfolio one may even argue that these are more photo art than the images you see here. But I had to make some distinction and so I chose images that are done entirely with the photographic process without any digitally created elements but allowing Photoshop image manipulation.
Many of the photo art styles you see here would be what one might expect if visiting a photographic gallery exhibition and are an excellent choice for those wishing to produce their own photo art for their walls. We have a variety of different image reproduction techniques and two of the most popular, aside from the traditional photo prints, are canvas photo art reproductions and the new metal prints that produce such a vibrant and unique image that some have called it the "high def of photography".
Since our sessions are billed by the hour and not by the genre, you can easily add some photo art styles to the mix of your session looks. So you may come to us for boudoir photography or some glamour portraits, but we can also shoot some of these photo art styles at the same time. There is no extra cost for mixing up the looks in your session.
Some of the photo art styles may be almost abstract in their approach and need not show any "naughty bits" in the final image. This creates a classy fine art figure study that would be completely appropriate to display in your home or office and in some compositions, even the identity of the subject is not readily apparent.
Photo art images are wide open to interpretation and so to design your photo art photography session we need to sit down during the free consultation and plan out the look that you are trying to achieve.
