Couples come to us for so many reasons. While we are probably best known for our glamour and fine art nude photography, many couples choose us simply because they want photography that is more creative and not the standard department store variety snapshots. Some come to us for engagement photos, anniversary celebrations, announcement photos, photos for their Internet web page or simply just because they want amazing images for themselves.
Of course, the majority of work we do is for couples seeking intimate portraits for themselves. Many prefer a more simple, even B&W treatment, while others want a complex fine art digital painting that will be the centerpiece of their home or bedroom.
Couples photography is one of our largest requests, but because we have a strict confidentiality agreement, we never use any of our clients images on our web site unless we first have their written permission. In fact, this clause is printed right on our client contracts. Our reputation is built on respect, trust, confidentiality, discretion and comfort. We take this very seriously and so, despite the fact that this is probably one of our largest categories, you will not see as many photos here as there are in some of our other categories because most couples are doing their images just for themselves and do not want them broadcast to the world.
First you will meet with us for a client consultation where you will have a chance to review our complete portfolio and discuss the styles and approaches you would like to see. Frederick may suggest many different varieties of photographic styles, most of which will be inspired by your own unique personalities. We want all of our photo sessions to be custom designed for each of our clients and not simply "cookie cutter" poses that you could get anywhere. Oleanna will also want to meet with you to discuss hair and makeup and to prepare herself for the photo session.
On the day of the photo session you will first be treated to a make-over by Oleanna to transform you into the best "you" possible. She will also assist in the studio to keep an eye out for any hair, makeup or costume adjustments that might be required and to lend her years of modeling experience to help you with your posing as well.
After the photo session, Frederick will take the images onto the computer to make a variety of adjustments or even, if the image lends itself to it, create some unique artistic special effects. He will then create a multimedia slide show where you will be able to see all of your images in high definition on our large 60 inch monitor. This process is time consuming and so it will take several days before your multimedia show will be ready. When your multimedia show is ready, you will return to view your images and make your choices.
